London, Ontario Wedding Photographer (Tiffany and Chad)

four_points_sheraton_london_ontario_wedding

I'm a big (BIG) believer that everything we've ever been through leads us to exactly where we're supposed to be.   Sometimes I meet a couple, and I instantly feel like I'm witnessing life happening the exact way that it should be.  Tiffany and Chad are proof, above and beyond, that life has awesomeness in store for us.

The first time I met Tiffany and Chad, I knew I wanted to be their wedding photographer.  The way Chad boasted about all the hard work Tiffany was doing for the wedding, and the way she smiled and told him to shush ...

We went to an old barn for photos of just the two of them.  It rained, but they trusted me.  I'm so thankful they did, because it was worth it.

Congratulations, Chad and Tiffany!  It was a genuine pleasure to be your wedding photographer.

Be sure to check out my Facebook page for more images, and be sure to leave some love for the newlyweds!

Elissa and Tyler {Collingwood Wedding Photographer}

They had a plan.  They knew they wanted to get married, but they also knew they had other things they wanted to do first.  Finish school.  Buy a home.  Get a dog.  When he proposed, they knew they'd wait to get married so they could finish everything else.  They finished school.  They bought a home.  They got a dog.  And then, finally, they stood on a beach and vowed to be together for the rest of their lives.

Elissa & Tyler had a fantastic ceremony on the private beach at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood, Ontario, surrounded by amazing family and friends.  Parents so proud they brought guests to tears with their speeches.  Friends so excited they belted out show tunes on the bus back to the resort.  And a sunset just begging to be photographed.

Thank you so much, Tyler and Elissa, for choosing me to document your wedding in Collingwood!

Tips and Advice: Family Photos {London, Ontario Wedding Photography}

www.JenShootsWeddings.com

Wedding season is here! Let's spend a few days talking about family photos at weddings, shall we? Because here's the thing - they're probably going to be your least favourite part of the day. Here's the other thing - they're pretty muchnecessary, so start practicing your smile. I promise to make it as easy and harmless as possible for you, but stay tuned for a few tips to help you as much as possible.

Today's tip: get used to the idea of standing in one spot for a bit. It may be boring for you but I guarantee your parents, grandparents and your great Aunt Mary are going to want those pictures. Trust me, standing and smiling for a few minutes is MUCH easier than listening to great Aunt Mary ask why there were no family photos. And someday, you may really, really wish you had more photos of great Aunt Mary.
