{Niagara Wedding} Jennifer and Tamiko

Most people usually spend Tuesday afternoons at work, recovering from the typical Monday blues, already counting ahead to the weekend when they can be themselves again.

Not Jennifer & Tamiko.  Along with a small group of close friends and family, Jennifer & Tamiko left their home of Texas and ventured to Niagara Falls to celebrate an important step in their relationship - their marriage.

It's easy to forget what weddings are about.  It's easy to get wrapped up in the latest trends, the tiniest details, the smallest of worries.  It's easy to forget a wedding isn't about showing your guests how creative you are, but instead about how much you and your partner mean to each other - how much the ceremony itself means to the two of you.

Jennifer & Tamiko looked gorgeous.  The simple details were stunning.  The weather was perfect.  But none of that matters as much as the words they said to each other last Tuesday, or the words they'll say to each other for the rest of their lives.

Congratulations.

{Melissa & Paul} London Wedding

We planned for a snowy day.  A late Winter wedding, crossing our fingers for a day of gorgeous snow, and hoping it wouldn't be ugly slush.  When Melissa & Paul talked about their March wedding, what we didn't plan on was flowers blooming.  It was a little rainy, a little dreary, but it was nothing like we had discussed.  It proves to us that we can plan everything, but there's a lot of things we have no control over.

Their ceremony was held in the gorgeous sun-lit atrium at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn, with their reception to follow just down the hall.  A moving handfasting ceremony, details of peacock feathers, and a gorgeous cake were just a few of the stunning details Melissa & Paul planned.

The emotion ran rampant on that out of character March day, and I'm so glad Melissa & Paul chose me to document and be a part of such an important day.
