Civic Gardens Wedding, London - Farah and Josh

Farah & Josh knew what it takes to plan a wedding, having already had one in Farah's home country of Mauritius, so when they were planning their Civic Gardens wedding in London, they knew their priority - time with family and friends.  We definitely had a great time walking around the gorgeous gardens and grounds of the Civic Gardens, but I think this couple had an even better time enjoying the day and evening with those who love them the most.

Farah and Josh's Civic Gardens wedding in London was a perfect day, and I can't wait to show you more images next week!

{London, Ontario Wedding} Genevieve and Jimmy

You don't have to rent a big banquet hall.  You don't have to have 300 guests.  You don't have to abide by a strict timeline or checklist.  You don't have to do any of these things to get married - all you have to do is make the decision to spend your lives together.  The rest is just details.  

Genevieve & Jimmy made sure they did their day their way.  An intimate ceremony in the backyard, surrounded by their children, family and friends.  Home cooked food, kids swimming, adults getting to chance to catch up during busy lives, and family you haven't seen in years.  These are the important moments in life.

{Melissa & Paul} London Wedding

We planned for a snowy day.  A late Winter wedding, crossing our fingers for a day of gorgeous snow, and hoping it wouldn't be ugly slush.  When Melissa & Paul talked about their March wedding, what we didn't plan on was flowers blooming.  It was a little rainy, a little dreary, but it was nothing like we had discussed.  It proves to us that we can plan everything, but there's a lot of things we have no control over. 

Their ceremony was held in the gorgeous sun-lit atrium at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn, with their reception to follow just down the hall.  A moving handfasting ceremony, details of peacock feathers, and a gorgeous cake were just a few of the stunning details Melissa & Paul planned. 

The emotion ran rampant on that out of character March day, and I'm so glad Melissa & Paul chose me to document and be a part of such an important day.

Allison & Scott's Wedding at Hessenland, in Zurich, ON

Ah, Allison & Scott. Could they be any cuter?

This is exactly how I started their entry when I posted their engagement session back in February, and nothing has changed - except they may be even cuter now that they're married! Check out their engagement session here - Scott & Allison's Engagement

Scott & Allison were married September 20, at the Hessenland Country Inn in Zurich, ON (near Grand Bend, not too far from London, ON). The Hessenland Country Inn is such a beautiful spot for a wedding - the property is beautiful for ceremonies, and there's so many great places for photographs both on the grounds and nearby. And the reception hall is gorgeous! Not only that, but the staff at the Hessenland are always so amazing at what they do.

Scott & Allison's event is another wedding that I've been looking forward to all year! They're such an incredible couple, and their energy is definitely contagious. Their wedding was beautiful from start to finish - absolutely spectacular!

Thank you both so much for inviting me to be part of such an amazing day! I can't say enough great things about both the two of you and your friends and families!
