Christie & Paul's Sarnia Wedding

Christie & Paul knew a few things for sure - that they wanted to celebrate their wedding surrounded by family & friends, and that they wanted to get married barefoot. On a gorgeous sunny day in September, they managed to do both with flair.

Christie walked down the grassy aisle of her parents front yard, and she and Paul exchanged vows with a slight breeze off of Lake Huron providing just enough to keep the the heat at bay .. until we went for photos on the beach, that is!

The reception was held at Sawmill Creek Golf Resort and Spa, and I loved seeing all the truly personal details the couple used to make their celebration uniquely "them". From the record album seating chart to the crossword puzzles at the dinner tables, each detail was well thought out and made it clear who Paul & Christie are as a couple.

It was nothing but perfection. Congratulations, guys! Thank you so much for asking me to join in your day.

Kelly & Kevin's Parry Sound Wedding

It rained all morning. Not just a bit of rain, but full out thunderstorms. Kelly sat patiently in her room at the Bayside Inn, staring out the window, watching the rain stop but the clouds stay put. Wondering if she should make the call. The call that would move the ceremony from beside the lake at her parents house in Parry Sound, to inside a cute church. She went back and forth, thinking about it. And then she did exactly what I would have done - she called her dad and asked for his advice.

After that, it didn't take long to decide they would take the risk. After picking Kelly and her maid of honour up in his beautifully restored Whippet, they made their way to the ceremony under the big old pines in her parents backyard. Watching Kevin's eyes light up as Kelly & her dad walked down the grassy aisle was inspiring, but that first kiss beside the lake, surrounded by friends and family was one of my favourite moments of any wedding. And although the skies were grey all afternoon, and although it sprinkled a tiny bit during the ceremony, the rain stayed away.

We made use of Kelly's parents gorgeous property, and then headed to the historical Rosseau Memorial Hall for an amazingly delicious dinner from Now That's Catering. And as loved ones stood up to speak after dinner, the rain finally fell, echoing off the roof.

Cheryl & Darren's Orillia Wedding at the Best Western Mariposa Inn was perfect. Cheryl was one of the calmest brides I've ever met! Between her relaxed attitude, and Darren's friendly smile, it was easy to feel like we were really part of the day, not just watching it through a lens.

It seems like a long time since I first met with this fantastic couple about their Orillia wedding, and one thing was clear from the get go - they wanted a unique location for wedding photos. I love when couples think outside of the box, and trust me to find backdrops that will really stand out as interesting. Although this secret location wasn't new to me, it was the first time I had a bride willing and close enough to venture to it. I'd say it was worth it!

Thank you to the staff at the Best Western Mariposa Inn - I always enjoy heading to my hometown to photograph such fantastic weddings, and this is a great venue for those in the area.

Lindsey & Tim's Georgian Bay Wedding {sneak peek}

Sometimes, I think I know how a wedding is going to go. I think about the technical stuff, the spots I need to be in, the moments I need to catch, and I'm confidant with my expectations of how things will progress throughout the day.

And then there was Lindsey & Tim's Georgian Bay wedding. I counted on their wedding being gorgeous. I counted on it being in a perfect setting. I counted on it being a good time. I even counted on it being a bit of a challenge for me - grey skies, wind, scheduling boat rides to make sure my second shooter didn't get left behind on an island in Georgian Bay. I counted on loving this wedding.

What I didn't count on was Lindsey. Lindsey, when meeting her a few times prior, was quiet but cheery. Lindsey on the wedding day? Was a force to be reckoned with. A celebrity. A fun loving, big smiling, deep laughing, ear to ear grinning, exploding with happiness woman marrying her best friend. Her joy infected everyone, and spread over the entire day. It was amazing.

Congratulations, Tim & Lindsey! Your Honey Harbour wedding in Georgian Bay was nothing short of amazing.

Chris & Anne's Port Credit Wedding

It was rainy and cloudy every day in May except for two. One of those days was a Saturday. And that Saturday just happened to be the day of Chris & Anne's Port Credit Wedding. If that's not good luck, I don't know what is.

Anne & I connected from the beginning, and I knew her large wedding was going to be a lot of fun. She was adamant on natural photography - no photoshop tricks or gimmicks! I decided to enlist the help of a second shooter that I rarely get to work with, and who was the first person to ever stress the importance of "getting it right, right from the camera" - my own dad, who's been a professional wedding photographer for over 40 years.

Riding a motorcycle into the reception hall prior to your first dance? That's my kind of kick ass couple. Watching such an amazing couple ride out of the Oasis Convention Centre on their motorcycle was by far one of my all time favourite wedding moments.

{Katie & Murray} Niagara on the Lake Wedding

A gorgeous day for a wedding. Niagara on the Lake. A historical church. An intimate dinner. A dress that looks like a million bucks. And a couple that just can't stop smiling at each other.

We photographed Katie & Murray last fall in Muskoka, for their engagement session, and knew instantly that not only was this couple genuinely in love, but that they were really up for anything to get just the right photograph.

Their intimate wedding at the Pillar & Post Inn consisted of 42 people, including us. Surrounded by their closest family & friends, their Niagara on the Lake wedding was more than spectacular.

It was perfect, in every way.

Cayla & Kevin {Parry Sound Wedding Photography}

Bridesmaids in different coloured dresses, each with different flower bouquets. Groomsmen in shorts. A gorgeous wedding ceremony on a barge on Georgian Bay. And a bride in bare feet. Cayla & Kevin definitely kept their wedding day natural, and true to themselves.

This gorgeous couple's wedding took place just north of Parry Sound, at Dillon Cove Marina, owned by Cayla's family. It was a perfect spot! I was worried when I woke up that morning - it was thunderstorms galore. Luckily, it cleared up enough for the ceremony, and pictures in Georgian Bay afterwards. It did rain a bit later, but by that time all guests were safely back on shore, and tucked under tents at the reception on the grass.

Congratulations, Cayla & Kevin! Your day was amazing, and such a lot of fun. I'm so happy to have been a part of it!

Grace & Steve | Vaughan Engagement Session

I love when a couple can laugh together. Be themselves together.

Grace & Steve do all of the above. They didn't care about the rain. They didn't care about the mud or the dirt. They just wanted to spend time together.

We spent a few hours taking pictures in Richmond Hill, touring the large park of Richmond Green. Afterwards, we stopped by one of my favourite spots in the area, and a very easy going Steve & Grace trekked into a soaking wet and muddy field.

I can't wait for your wedding in October! I'm praying the day is slightly sunnier and much more dry then this one was!

Niagara-on-the-Lake Wedding | Carol & Randy

Niagara-on-the-lake. A backyard wedding. A ceremony under a tree. Surrounded by friends & family. Bride & bridesmaids in tuxes. It was beautiful, moving, and uniquely them. As all weddings should be.

Carol & Randy were worried about rain. Instead, we were blessed with insanely blue skies.

I love the sassiness of the girls in tuxes. I love the emotion Carol showed during the ceremony. But most of all, I loved the way Randy looked at Carol - like she's the only woman for him.

Alexis & Phil's Wedding | Oakview Terrace, Richmond Hill

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding, and a better couple, to start off my wedding season this year. After an extremely exhausting Winter, Alexis' & Phil's wedding was like a breath of fresh air.

Both Phil & Alexis are amazing people, and together they're incredible. Their personalities shine through in every single picture we took!

After the sunny ceremony in the outdoor wedding chapel at Oakview Terrace in Richmond Hill, I asked Alexis & Phil if they were up for getting really creative for their pictures - luckily, both said yes without even a hint of hesitation. I had my eye on a gorgeous abandoned property down the road, knowing we'd be able to get some really fun shots there. It turned out to be one of the best locations I've ever shot in!

Alexis & Phil - thank you for choosing me as your photographer! Your wedding was amazing, and the best way to start the season. Every wedding will have to live up to yours now!

Cayla & Kevin - Parry Sound Engagement Photography

Cayla & Kevin are such a great couple! Their wedding is planned for August, on the shores of Georgian Bay, just north of Parry Sound. To offset the (gorgeous) summer wedding photos we'll do then, they decided to do a wintery engagement session. The weather actually co-operated with us, giving us a lovely blue sky to work with!

Cayla & Kevin were up for anything - trekking through the woods, trekking up rocks, and strapping on skates! I love every picture from our session, and I can't wait to head to Parry Sound again in August for their wedding!

Shonna & Dan connected with me last week to have some engagement photographs done in time for Christmas, and I was happy to oblige! Having just moved to our new place in Newmarket, there were quite a few places I wanted to explore in my new city. We hit the Newmarket Train Station first, and then headed down to the Festival of Lights at Fairy Lake Park.

It was a cold day, but it was definitely worth it!

Sapna & Ian - Couples Photography Session in Brampton

Sapna and I went to High School together many eons ago (Can you believe it's been 10 years??), and lost touch after both of us moving away from our home town. Through the wonders of Facebook, we've recently be in contact again!

Sapna & Ian were married over a year ago, and although they liked their wedding pictures, they wanted to do a photography session that was more "them" as a couple.

I love couples sessions! They give you a chance to really relax and get creative with what you, the couple, like. I love when your interests and hobbies can be brought to light in a unique portrait setting. In this case, Ian is an avid photographer as well, and the two of them wanted a location that would really suit them, and be a dramatic back drop. What better place than the Badlands in Cheltenham and Caledon (Just a 20 minute drive north of Brampton)? The surrounding area of Cheltenham and Caledon is also ripe with picture opportunities!

Katie & Murray are engaged! Although they're having their wedding next summer in Niagara-on-the-Lake, they chose to do their engagement photos in lovely Muskoka. Can you blame them? Not only is Fall in Muskoka beautiful because of the leaves changing, but the weather can be quite dramatic as well! What a great idea for an engagement session. We spent some time in Gravenhurst, then moved up to a few of my favourite nooks in Bracebridge - dodging rain drops all the way!

Michael & Nancy's Wedding at the Wigamog Inn, Haliburton

Michael & Nancy were married just over a week ago, at the Wigamog Inn in Haliburton. The Wigamog makes a great setting for a wedding - especially a Fall wedding! The colours in Haliburton this time of year are simply gorgeous!

Nancy & Michael chose to do most of their photos prior to the ceremony, which worked out perfectly for the weather! Like most of my weddings this year, rain was definitely an issue. We managed to get all the photos done, and about 30 seconds after walking back inside from their ceremony on the lawn on the Inn, the rain poured down!

Alexis & Derek's Wedding at the Nottawasaga Inn, Alliston

Alexis & Derek were married just over a week ago, at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston. Like most of my weddings this year, the threat of rain was ever apparent! As soon as we were finished with the photographs outdoors, the rain started - perfect timing!

Alexis wore such a beautiful gown, and she and her gorgeous bridesmaids exuded such a natural vintage glam vibe - I especially loved Alexis's fascinator!

I also loved the green apple colour of the flowers and details. The sweet flower girls looked so cute in their green dresses. I loved the use of such of a bright, summery colour for a Fall wedding.

Ah, Allison & Scott. Could they be any cuter?

This is exactly how I started their entry when I posted their engagement session back in February, and nothing has changed - except they may be even cuter now that they're married! Check out their engagement session here - Scott & Allison's Engagement

Scott & Allison were married September 20, at the Hessenland Country Inn in Zurich, ON (near Grand Bend, not too far from London, ON). The Hessenland Country Inn is such a beautiful spot for a wedding - the property is beautiful for ceremonies, and there's so many great places for photographs both on the grounds and nearby. And the reception hall is gorgeous! Not only that, but the staff at the Hessenland are always so amazing at what they do.

Scott & Allison's event is another wedding that I've been looking forward to all year! They're such an incredible couple, and their energy is definitely contagious. Their wedding was beautiful from start to finish - absolutely spectacular!

Thank you both so much for inviting me to be part of such an amazing day! I can't say enough great things about both the two of you and your friends and families!

Adam & Jodie's Wedding - Wigamog Inn, Haliburton

This past weekend, I was lucky to be present at not one, but two amazing weddings! I started my busy weekend off in Haliburton, at the Wigamog Inn to photograph Adam & Jodie's wedding. We were blessed with such amazing weather! After an entire summer of rainy or melting hot weddings, I was so relieved to have comfortable sunshine.

Jodie & Adam had such a perfect event, and were so enthusiastic! The canoe photo above is one of my favourite photographs - I was so scared they would float too far away, as they didn't have a paddle!

The Wigamog Inn makes a perfect backdrop for a wedding, and the Fall colours in Haliburton are just starting to appear. Everything made for such a perfect wedding day!

Thank you so much, Jodie & Adam! I'd been looking forward to your wedding all year, and am so blessed to be a part of such a great day. I can't wait until our Trash The Dress session!

Dawn & Dean were married last weekend at the Kempenfelt Centre in Barrie, ON. As with almost every wedding this year, the threat of rain was ever apparent! Luckily, just as we arrived, the sky cleared and some blue came shining through, with some clouds for added dramatic effect. Although windy, Dawn & Dean ended up having amazing weather for their wedding!

The Kempenfelt Centre is a great spot for a summer wedding in Barrie - lots of great greenery, great architecture, and beautiful scenery overlooking the bay. Dawn & Dean had their wedding ceremony on the patio, directly overlooking the bay - it was gorgeous!

Amanda and Jonathan were married a few weeks ago, on a hot (HOT!) Monday morning at the Doctor's House in Kleinburg. I've done a handful of weddings at the Doctor's House, but every time I visit, I end up falling in love with it just a little bit more!

When Jonathan & Amanda told me about their intimate wedding in Kleinburg, I couldn't help but smile! An amazing couple and an amazing location? I'm always up for that!

Jan & Doug's Wedding in Muskoka

Jan & Doug were married last Saturday, August 15 at their home in Muskoka. Their wedding was an intimate affair, and such a joy to capture. The day was sweltering hot, with barely any respite, but Jan & Doug and their families were so easy going - even when I asked them to trek through the heat to Wilson's Falls in Bracebridge.

Wilson's Falls in Bracebridge is such a great spot for wedding photos - it's quieter than most places in Muskoka, and the scenery is amazing. If you're in Bracebridge, or Muskoka at all, don't miss out on such a beautiful spot!

The reception, also held at their home, was catered by the amazing Fresh Kutz in Bracebridge. Fresh Kutz is one of my favourite spots to eat when I'm back home, and a long time family favourite. Never tried eating at Fresh Kutz? You're definitely missing out!

Jan and I met this past Spring, during a very difficult family time. I am still blown away by the compassion and professionalism she and the other nurses at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital showed my family and I. Although we didn't meet under the best circumstance, I'm so glad that I was lucky enough to be present at such a happy event in her life later on!

Jen & Adam were married almost two weeks ago, in Edwards Gardens in Toronto. I met Jen through a good friend of mine, and when Jen mentioned the low-key wedding they wanted to have in Toronto, I was immediately on board!

It may have been an intimate wedding, but it was FULL of emotion! Some weddings definitely have the power to make me say "awwww!", but this one didn't leave a dry eye in the house - including my own.

Edwards Gardens in Toronto is such a gorgeous spot for a wedding. Although it can get quite busy on weekends, there are so many wonderful and enchanting nooks and crannies - I love to explore it. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the afternoon with Jen & Adam, and their families.

Cindy & Josh - Kitchener Wedding

Cindy & Josh were married July 18, at City Hall in Kitchener. Like most of my weddings this year, the day started off cloudy, and threatened to rain all afternoon. Luckily, it held off! After the wedding ceremony at City Hall, we headed to a couple parks in Kitchener for a tonne of pics! The rain held off, and we had a blast - not only were Cindy & Josh amazing to work with and photograph, but their wedding party was such a great group, with a great sense of humour!

This one is a bit different - Julie & Jeff are related to my best friend, and I've been promising them a family portrait session for oh, I don't know, 2 years? Although the day started out cold, gray and rainy, the sun came out in time for our family portrait session at Tudhope Park (AKA Moose Beach for you Orillia locals!).

Julie & Jeff have a gorgeous family - these two boys were so full of character, you can really see their personalities shine through in the pictures!

Trash The Dress in Parry Sound

Samantha and Jeremy had their wedding last Winter in Parry Sound - in the middle of a snow storm! Due to the extreme Winter weather, their wedding photographs were all inside. Samantha was ecstatic to get dressed up again for a Trash The Dress session a couple of weeks ago, and the weather definitely agreed with us! I headed into Parry Sound for some awesome post-wedding Trash The Dress photos, and we had a blast! We started at Tower Hill, and then headed out to Depot Harbour. Parry Sound is such a gorgeous spot in the summer - great for wedding photography, or Trash The Dress pics!

Family Portrait Session in Orillia

Lisa and I went to high school together (I'm not going to say when, but it's definitely way too long ago), but lost contact shortly after. With the wonders of social media these days, we located each other again through Facebook. When I mentioned I would be in Orillia for some family portrait sessions, Lisa quickly booked me! It's great to reconnect with someone from my past, although we didn't have time to talk about some of the crazy things we did when we were younger!

Lisa's family is gorgeous - her daughter is hilarious, and her two boys are such cute characters! I wish all family portrait sessions were this animated.

Trash The Dress in Barrie

Becky & Graham are an amazing couple! Becky entered the contest on the Sensational Weddings blog for a Trash The Dress session, and we just loved her enthusiasm and attitude! Eve and I were quite excited to head to Barrie to photograph such a great pair.

Trash The Dress sessions are so much fun! They're a great way to get in your dress again, and get the shots you didn't have time for, or were too afraid of getting on your wedding day! As you can see, Trash The Dress sessions don't really trash the dress (unless you want to!)- we just get it a bit wet sometimes, and maybe a bit dirty, but nothing a dry cleaning won't fix!

The four of us spent a few hours touring around Barrie, maximizing our locations - a park to start off, downtown Barrie (where they were setting up a fair!), the old Barrie Train station, and of course, a beach.

Intimate wedding at The Doctor's House, Kleinburg

Cathy & Tom contacted me just over a month ago, looking for someone to photograph their intimate wedding at The Doctor's House in Kleinburg. I was beyond ecstatic! I love The Doctor's House, and Cathy & Tom were such a great couple - how could I have said no?

Although it rained almost all morning, we still managed to dodge raindrops for a handful of pictures outside. The Doctor's House is located in the village of Kleinburg, and has a small (but amazingly gorgeous) chapel on site, surrounded by a large English style garden. Inside finds a handful of small to medium banquet rooms (with lovely high post and beam ceilings, fireplaces, hardwood floors .. sooooo pretty!) and a restaurant open to the public - with a brunch to die for!

Thank you so much, Cathy & Tom! Although it was a cloudy and rainy day, it was still a beautiful one - congratulations!

Family Session in Rosetta McClain Gardens

Minerva and I have been planning family photos for so long! Having worked with Minerva many times before (Minerva is the owner of The Wedding Choreographers & Co.!, I was excited to meet the rest of her family and spend some time with them. We headed to Rosetta McClain Gardens, a fantastic park overlooking the Scarborough Bluffs. Rosetta McClain Gardens is a great spot to spend an afternoon, or for any type of photo session!

Minerva's family turned out to be even more friendly than I thought, and were so outgoing! There's so many great trees in Rosetta McClain Gardens, and when I asked the girls to climb the tree, they literally jumped - heels and all! What a great morning!

Engagement Session in Edwards Gardens, Toronto

Olivia & Nick are getting married this September, and we spent a couple hours this past Sunday taking some engagement pictures. After discussing so many possibilities for picture locations, we finally realized we were forgetting such a great one! If you've never been, Edwards Gardens in Toronto is amazing! Great flower gardens, tons of walking trails, scenic bridges, and tons upon tons of little nooks and crannies - my favourites, of course! Edwards Gardens is a great spot for wedding photography in Toronto, as well! Though keep in mind a few points - for wedding photography, Edwards Gardens does require a permit. It's also one of the busiest spots for wedding photography in Toronto - but definitely worth it!

We were worried about the weather holding out long enough, but ended up near melting in the sun! Definitely worth it - Olivia & Nick were such a great couple to photograph! Thanks for putting up with the intense heat, guys!

Nick & Ashley's Wedding

I've been looking forward to Ashley & Nick's wedding all Spring! Their wedding day started off sunny and hot, but just as the ceremony ended and we headed for pictures, the skies opened up and the hurricane-like weather drove us inside. Ashley & Nick have a Rock The Dress session coming up soon, so we'll definitely be taking advantage of nicer weather then!

Claudia & Mark - Northridge Inn, March 14 2009

A lot of people think being a wedding photographer is just one main season of work, but let me tell you - winter weddings can be just as beautiful as summer weddings! Maybe not as warm, but definitely just as beautiful - if not more so.

Claudia & Mark were married on a crisp sunny day at the Northridge Inn in Sundridge, On - a small town between Huntsville & North Bay, in one of my favourite areas of Ontario (I think I'll always be a small town girl at heart, I miss being able to see the stars at night!).

Braving the extremely chilly wind, the gorgeous couple were married on a dock over the frozen Bernard Lake, and their ceremony included translation for Cluadia's German heritage. After the ceremony, we ducked in and out of the warm lodge to take some pictures, and it was definitely worth the cold cheeks!

Claudia & Mark, thank you for including me in such an incredible day of celebration - both of love, and of family!

Baby Liam!

Baby Liam finally arrived on February 8, 2009 after what seems like EONS of waiting! Liam's parents, John & Lorie, have been so calm and relaxed through out the entire pregnancy and birth - I don't know how they did it!

Liam was 8 pounds, 1 oz at birth - and is growing steadily! I took these pictures just a few weeks ago, and he's already much bigger.

Congratulations, John & Lorie! I'm so happy for the both of you - Liam couldn't have chosen better parents! I'm excited to document and be a part of your lives as Liam grows up.

E Session with Allison & Scott in Stratford

Ah, Allison & Scott. Could they be any cuter? We took advantage of a sunny day yesterday, and met in Stratford for their engagement pictures. Between a locale that's a photographers dream, and a couple as photogenic as they are, I was in heaven! They look at each other with such intensity, and it comes through in their pictures. I'm so excited for their wedding this September, at Hessenland Country Inn in Zurich, ON - I know I say that about every wedding, but I really really really can't wait for this one!

Thanks for not caring about wet feet and cold cheeks, guys! It was worth it!

After a busy wedding season, I photographed the last wedding of the year in November. My next wedding is in March, which gives me some down time to do some albums, plan some Sensational Wedding Shows, and plan my own wedding!

Lisa and Kevin were married in a small ceremony in Gravenhurst on Saturday November 8th. When I first arrived that afternoon, the sun was shining, but it quickly faded as the day went on. By the time the ceremony ended, the weather was not looking good! Lisa, Kevin and their wedding party were great sports - we managed to grab some great shots at Outlook Park in Gravenhurst, overlooking the Wharf (home to the Muskoka Segwuin and Wenonah). We managed to wrap up just as the freezing rain started!

Sheila & Jason - Simple, Loving and Beautiful! October 3/08

Sheila and Jason were married Friday October 3, 2008 at Newmarket Town Hall. I still can't get over what a beautiful couple they are! After a short but sweet ceremony, the three of us headed to a local park for some more pictures, complete with some curious local ducks!

Devon & Jamie, Thursday October 2 - A beautiful way to be non-traditional

Not long ago, Devon and Jamie contacted me to document their wedding day - mentioning right away that they wanted some silly and non-traditional photos. They had me at the word "silly"!

The weather wasn't promising - high winds, low temps and a lot of rain. An outdoor ceremony in Richmond Green (in Richmond Hill, ON) was surely not going to work ... but, at the last minute, the skies cleared, the sun peaked through the clouds, and the bride walked down the Gazebo pathway without catching pneumonia.

After pictures at the park, I asked Devon and Jamie to indulge me for a few minutes. On my way to the ceremony that morning, I had spotted a beautiful field that I knew would make for dramatic pictures, and we stopped there for a few minutes before making our way to the small restaurant reception.

Devon and Jamie ended their day by bowling with their friends and family, and altough I couldn't stay, I'm sure they had a blast! What a fun way to top off a fun wedding!

Haley & Kyle's Wedding - August 16/08

I met Haley & Kyle last year while photographing their friends wedding, and they soon after booked me for their wedding this year in Thorndale, just outside of London. Married on the lawn of Haley's parents sprawling spread, the couple enjoyed a relaxed but elegant day. The weather was perfect, and the location was a photographer's dream. My favourite part? Haley & Kyle arriving to their reception hall via electric golf cart - completely decorated with tin cans and a "just married" sign.

Congratulations, Haley & Kyle! I hope all your days are as sunny as your wedding day.

Christy & Peter's Wedding Affair

When Christy first contacted me and mentioned that her wedding would be a surprise to the majority of her guests, I was honored that she picked me to document her special event. Held in Muskoka, at Shamrock Lodge (www.ShamrockLodge.com), the day was rainy and full of storms - but that didn't stop this couple. When guests realized they weren't just there for Christy's parents' 50th Anniversary, but for a wedding as well, the emotions were priceless. After the ceremony in a sunporch full of big windows overlooking the lake, the rain stopped just long enough for the couple and I to venture outside for some pictures. Afterwards, a beautiful and intimate reception followed at a friend's cottage - where we managed to dodge the rain and grab some more pictures about five minutes before it began pouring!

Rain and storms aside, it was a beautiful day with a beautiful couple. Thank you, Christy & Peter, for not being afraid to get a little wet!
